NewGens and Noname Security Announces Partnership

Both parties to work jointly to tackle API security in the region.

23 June 2022 – NewGens Pte Ltd and Noname Security have entered into a reseller partnership arrangement for Noname’s API security solution across NewGens offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

In the last few years, especially since the start of the pandemic, APIs have become the lifeblood of the digital economy for any business. This has led to prominently increased security vulnerabilities as most of the global internet traffic are initiated by API calls. Now APIs are the most frequent target of cyberattacks.

NewGens, a recognised payment domain expert for banks, has been providing cyber-related security assessments and recommendations to financial institutions and corporates. NewGens is acutely aware that APIs have also become a point of vulnerability for financial institutions, especially in areas such as transactions through mobile apps.

The Noname API Security platform protects APIs in real-time and detects vulnerabilities and misconfigurations before they are exploited. It is an out-of-band solution that integrates with API gateways, load balancers, and web application firewalls (WAFs) to offer deeper visibility and security.
